First time out sailing, from Marina Bay to Angel Island on a calm, windless day.
My friend R went to Greece during the Summer for a couple of weeks to learn how to sail. On returning to SF he made some sailing friends; he invited us to join him and his crew on a trip from Richmond to Angel Island. Besides the channel exiting Marina Bay, it was practically windless most the way. We learnt that sailing folks like to complicate names for the sake of sounding special - starbird for the right side, port for the left. And no, it's not a map — it's a chart.
