A few days walking the fells in early spring. Low cloud, wet stone, moss underfoot. Shot on an old family camera that had been lying around for some time.
I'd dabbled with the camera over the last few months, but this was the first time it started to click. No plan going in — just experimenting with light, close-ups, water in motion. Editing is new for me too. Turns out capturing the photos is the easy part; it's much harder deciding what to leave out. Over the last year I've found myself gravitating towards pairing visuals with music, and this felt like an extension of that — only with a bit more deliberation on the sequencing. If you scrolled through with The Lark Ascending playing, that was the idea.
